The Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 11, 2020 starting at 11:00am.  Doors will open at 10:15am, with entertainment, demonstrations and crafts for our visitors until the first hunt begins.  Children 12 and under are welcome to search the fields of the farm to find eggs with treats and surprises in them, and visit with the Easter Bunny!

Three hunts, divided by age group, will begin at 11:00 (1-3 years), 11:15 (4-7 years) and 11:30 (8-12 years). Tickets for each age category are limited, to maintain a good experience for everyone.  There will be egg-related crafts and activities and even a meet and greet with some of Ridley Creek State Park’s native wildlife, and after the hunts will be a puppet show. Pre-registration is strongly recommended to guarantee your child’s spot and expedite entry onto the farm. We expect this event to sell out. Families are welcome to explore the historic house and see the farm animals after the egg hunts.

The Plantation’s hours are 11:00am to 4:00pm.  Hunts will only occur at the times specified above, but crafts and activities will continue throughout the day.

Admission:  Admission is $9.00 for adults and children ages 4 and up, and $5.00 for member adults and member children age 4-12.  Ages 3 and under are free.  Light refreshments will be available for purchase (please bring cash for food purchases.)  Last admission is at 3:00pm.  This is a rain or shine event; tickets are non-refundable.

Finding Us:  Please use GPS address 3900 North Sandy Flash Drive, Newtown Square, PA 19073.  There is plentiful free parking available.
